MDL-MBS Motive Power batteries

Midac MDL-MBS batteries deliver a high level of power and reliability thanks to its state-of-the-art production technology providing higher efficiency in the discharge, which is achieved by the use of advanced components in the construction of the positive plates.

The standard line includes complete series in both DIN and BS (British Standard) sizes, this line of the dimensions prescribed by standards DIN/EN 60254 and IEC 254-2.

They are available for the widest range of setups and load solutions possible, thereby assuring the most flexible response to any given application.

MLM Low-Maintenance Motive Power Batteries

Motive Power battery designed for low water consumption .

The MLM system reduces the need for battery maintenance to once every 3+ months.

Through the combination of MLM special battery design, high efficiency charger MIDATRON HE and controlled charging profile by means of the MB2 module (MIDAC Battery Brain), while ensuring a long life up to 1500 cycles, the optimization of the energy consumption during the charge and the battery monitoring / data recording, also available by remote WEB management.

MB2 (MIDAC Battery Brain) module

Perfectly Integrated Battery Module Unit.

The MB2 takes reading of ALL the essential parameters like terminals and half battery voltage, in/out current, electrolyte level and temperature, with lab-instrument accuracy, while preserving high mechanical strength and chemical-proof characteristics.

Constantly communicating with the high-efficiency charger using Powerline wireless technology, MB2 provides record of any relevant event and proactively adjusts the charging algorithm parameters.

MHE high-efficiency motive-power batteries

These high-efficiency batteries are designed to supply power in a way that differs from the rest of motive-power batteries; during some operations, the demand for a lift truck during two or three work shifts requires two batteries and a workbench to perform the battery misplacement and carry on with the operation.

In the case of this battery, we can rely on power supply for two or three shifts with a highly efficient usage of such power, 24h of battery power for five days (with brief daily charges during the operator’s breaks, plus the leveling charge applied during the weekends).

As the most environment-friendly solution, the MHE system reduces energy consumption and consequently CO2 emissions by up to 30% through the perfect integration of MHE special battery design.

Along with a MIDATRON HE high-efficiency charger and a controlled charging profile using the MB2 module (MIDAC Battery Brain), while ensuring an extended life up to 1800 cycles.

Li-Ion motive-power batteries

MIDAC’s mindful approach opens ways for new technology; this time, we’re speaking of Li-Ion batteries, which represent the latest technological innovation at the forefront in the field of industrial vehicle batteries.

All the functions are monitored and controlled by the MBM (Midac Battery Management), to get the best performance and ensure absolute safety.

It ensures 3750+ cycles at 80% DoD with maintenance-free operation; it can also be defined as an option for all the applications where other technologies do not meet the requirements.

MIDAC MONITORING MODULE (M3)


The MIDAC Monitoring Module (M3) is an optional module to match the lithium battery and is designed to show the information circulating on the battery CANbus system to inform the user about the battery state of charge (SoC), the state of battery life (SoH), and information about any faults.
It exists in the wired version and Bluetooth / Wi-Fi

Wireless version allows monitoring the battery status remotely, saving the data to a cloud database, analyzing data by MIDAC SERVICE SOFTWARE (MSS) and eventually predicting any maintenance.

MIDAC BATTERY MANAGEMENT (MBM)


MBM is the bright brain of each Midac lithium battery. It was developed using automotive technology to ensure maximum performance and reliability. The MBM controls the correct operation, keeping the battery in a range of optimal and safe operation, thus avoiding any possible cause of failure.

MDLBock-MBSblock motive-power batteries

One of the greatest challenges in technological development is to create innovation, whilst introducing substantial improvements to both the production process and the resulting product.

The result of such development is the line of monoblock motive-power batteries, limited only to 250 Ah; the major advantage against traditional batteries is their reduced cost and the lack of sulphation due to their internal jumpers.

The “block project”, 8 years after the launch of the revolutionary MBSblock range, is now completed and significantly enhanced by the introduction of the new MDLblock versions to cover most of the applications on pallet trucks designed for British Standard and DIN-B 24-V batteries.
